Purchase Manager – Plant

Department: Purchase / Supply Chain Management

Experience: 6–10 Years

Qualification: Diploma in Supply Chain Management (SCM) or Related Field

Key Skill: Procurement Management, Vendor Management, Negotiation, Inventory Management, ERP Systems (SAP/Oracle/Tally), Supply Chain Operations, Cost Optimization, Logistics Management, Purchase Planning

Responsibility: Develop purchasing strategies, source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts and pricing, manage procurement activities, monitor inventory levels, coordinate with production and finance teams, track deliveries, maintain procurement records, conduct supplier evaluations, and ensure cost-effective purchasing operations.

Others:

Strong negotiation and communication skills required

Experience in vendor management and procurement cycle management

Knowledge of inventory control and logistics processes

Experience with ERP systems preferred

Responsible for supplier performance, cost savings, inventory efficiency, and procurement timelines
