AGM / DGM / GM – Power Plant & Utilities

Experience: Min 25 Years

Qualification : B. Tech / B.E. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

Key Skills : Experience in Operations of large-scale Power Plants, preferably within the Fertilizer, Petrochemical or Power sector.

Should have hands-on experience in Plant Operations, Supervision and Production Management in a Manufacturing Environmental

To lead the operations of the OSBL facilities viz. SPG, GT, RWTP, ETP, Cooling Towers and meet the requirements of Ammonia and Urea plants w.r.t power/water/CBM supply within budgetary norms and as per the business plan.

To ensure world class HSE standards.

To coach and guide the team members to continually improve their capabilities.

Primary Responsibility

To ensure that staff in the plants and facilities are properly trained and focused on operational efficiencies and while doing so will maintain world class HSE standards.

To keep himself and his team members abreast with the developments in other units within Panagarh facility and also benchmarks elsewhere.

To keep track of operational conditions and initiate action as required.

Initiate and encourage improvements/innovation and ensure that they are safely implemented

Make long term plans to improve the safety and generation/supply performance and monitor it for zero accident and output as per the business plan.

Plan budgeting, cost control, maintenance planning, shutdowns and turnarounds

To liaise with equipment manufacturers to ensure plant is updated.

To face and defend process, safety and quality audits

The incumbent shall be responsible for developing his next line of leadership by constantly coaching and guiding them.
