Senior Manager – Environment, Health & Safety (EHS)

Experience: 12–18 Years

Qualifications : B.E./B.Tech in Chemical, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering + PG Diploma in Industrial Safety (mandatory under Factories Act).

Key Responsibilities : 1. EHS Strategy & Implementation
Drive a culture of safety across all operations.

Develop and implement EHS policies aligned with global and local standards.

Lead the site-level EHS committee and initiatives.

2. Regulatory Compliance
Ensure 100% compliance with EHS laws (CPCB, SPCB, NDMA, Factories Act, etc.).

Maintain and update all environmental licenses and permits.

3. Risk Management
Conduct regular risk assessments (HAZOP, HIRA, JSA).

Investigate incidents and implement corrective/preventive actions.
Oversee emergency preparedness and drills.

4. Training & Awareness
Conduct EHS training sessions across all departments.

Drive engagement through campaigns like National Safety Week, Fire Safety Day, etc.

5. Environmental Management
Monitor waste, emissions, effluents, and resource usage.

Coordinate sustainability projects and compliance with regulatory bodies.

6. Reporting & Audits
Submit monthly/annual EHS reports to regulatory and corporate bodies.
Handle internal/external audits and ensure timely closure of NCs.
