AM / DM- Process Engineering (Mechanical)
 

Experience : 5 - 7 Years
 

CTC: Up-to 13 LPA
 

Qualification : BTech / Diploma- Mechanical
 

Key Skill: Press Shop, Process Engineering, Machine Shop, Sheet Metals.
 

Company Industry : Stationary Tools
 

Scope: Press Shop, Machine shop, Heat treatment, molding and assembly line s.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

1. Provide assistance to manufacturing operations including troubleshooting of Press Shop, machine shop issues, special testing during product and process validation and assistance in identifying root cause with experience in different quality tools and problem solving techniques
 

2. Carryout different engineering analysis in press tools, machinery, material handling to find out the wastages in press shop and machine shop and to eliminate the NVAs and improve availability-OEE
 

3. Detailed analysis of different down times of different manufacturing processes to find out the solutions with help of different tools of manufacturing to improve Quality and delivery of production lines
 

4. Initiate /lead the CFTs for recommend formal corrective actions to Process or product design improvements
 

5. Leading role in new product realization , capacity planning, process development and all other EFTGs to ensure product handover within project planned time
 

6. Lead and coach subordinates and production personnel on process, equipment, and analytical approach to problem solving and continuous improvement
 

7. Carry out formal and timely manufacturability (DFM/DFT/DFA) review on all new products
 

8. Develop new processes based on new technology requirements
 

9. Lead a team of engineers and production people on processes-
 

10. Coordinate with Product Engineering/Tool Engineering/Program Management to assure that all Engineering models/drawings and specification are adequate to accurately define all manufacturing and quality requirements to produce a product that meets design requirements
 

11. Manage and review plant capacity requirements for new products and constraints in existing plant capacity , Drive continuous improvement activities in quality, cycle times, process improvement, machine availability through lean techniques and value engineering to enhance the capability of existing processes and remove waste
 

12. Perform all other duties as deemed necessary by the department manager
 

13. Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice production Engineering; planning vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve operational performance
 

14. Develop and maintain project plans and budget profiles to ensure delivery of milestones to agreed cost targets and timescales
 

15. Identify and justify capital equipment investment
 

16. Analyze downtime, identify trends and develop solutions-demonstrate with CFTs
 

17. Ensure accuracy of Process Engineering procedures and documentation (APQP-PPAP and departmental documentation)
 

18. Leading role in preparing and reviewing of PFMEA, Control Plan and other process documents as per company and department requirement and customer requirement
 

19. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performances.

 

Able to demonstrate experience of working within a manufacturing environment in Press Shop, Machine Shop, Tool Engineering/ Heat treatment, molding and assembly lines
 

Strong working knowledge of 2D and 3D CAD, Solid Works, Minitab.

 

In depth knowledge and experience of Design Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (DFMEA), Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA), Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP),
 

Lean Manufacturing techniques- VSM, Line Balancing, DILO, TOC
 

Certified in ISO-9001-2015/IATF 2016 and EMS
 

Experience of New Product Introduction, reworking design changes and upgrades through to production (ECNs/PCNs)
 

Experience in planning and exaction of plant layout, facility analysis, and operational work force management
 

Experience in production services- Routings, Cell Manufacturing, material Handling and F low.

Qualifications and Experience Levels:

 

Relevant manufacturing/engineering degree is preferred- B. Tech (Mechanical/Industrial)
