AVP - Underwriting Liabilites - Mumbai

Role & Responsibilities:

- Underwriting of Liability proposals for various products and clients.

- Business development: Customer interaction for deal closures, techno-marketing, Product Presentations etc.

- Channel Management: the interface between Brokers and Customers - training and development of various Liability products

- Coordination with other depts.: such as reinsurance, product specialists and accounts.

- Policy administration and documentation.

- Contribute to price review exercise at regular intervals through market benchmarking & and identifying the areas for correction

- Liaison with all stakeholders (Sales, IT, Operations, Legal & Compliance) for all Underwriting matters.

- Ensure 100% compliance with all regulatory & and product approval-related aspects.

- Work with IT and Operations staff to ensure that business requirements are met and that customers are provided with a high level of service.

Qualification and competencies:

- B.E. / B Tech / MBA/PG

- 8-10 Years of experience in Underwriting with General Insurance firm

- Hands-on experience with analytical tools and statistical packages

- Additional Insurance diploma or certification will be preferred

- Excellent comprehension and communication skills
