Position: Technical Assistant To Unit Head

 

Designation: Assistant Manager - Manager

 

Function: Manufacturing Unit Head Office

Key Responsibilities:

 

Provide day-to-day strategic & operational support to the Unit Head which includes the preparation and routing of reports, documents, emails, presentation decks, ad hoc data requests, dashboards, etc.
 

For various assigned deliverables, collect requisite data, build data models, derive insights and present findings to the Unit Head for timely decision making
 

Provide support for tracking and monitoring department-wise performance against key technical KPIs
 

Act as a liaison for smooth communication between the Unit Head’s office and internal departments; demonstrating leadership to maintain credibility & trust
 

Have a sense for the issues taking place in the Plant environment and keep the Unit Head updated about the same
 

Plan, coordinate and ensure the Unit Head's schedule is followed and respected
 

Prioritize conflicting needs; handle matters expeditiously, proactively, and follow-through on projects and initiatives to successful completion
 

Research, prioritize, and follow up on incoming issues and concerns addressed to the Unit Head, including those of a sensitive or confidential nature.
 

Assist in coordinating the agenda of Plant Management team meetings, and all-staff meetings

 

Ideal candidate profile and key skills & competencies:

 

Strong knowledge of Cement Manufacturing Process
 

Hands-on domain experience in similar role
 

Good analytical & presentation skill
 

Ability to effectively coordinate with multiple internal and external stakeholders

 

Education
 

Credentials: B. Tech Chemical / Other Engineering Graduates
