Job Description:

 

Infrastructure Management:
 

Maintain LAN/WAN connectivity across the plant and offices.
 

Ensure uptime of servers, switches, firewalls, and backup systems.
 

Troubleshoot hardware, printers, and networking issues.
 

Software & ERP Support:
 

Support and maintain ERP systems (like SAP, Oracle, or local solutions).
 

Manage user access, roles, and system security.
 

Coordinate with ERP vendors for issue resolution and updates.
 

Plant Automation Integration:
 

Collaborate with electrical/instrumentation teams on SCADA, PLC, and DCS systems.
 

Ensure IT support for sensors, monitoring tools, and reporting dashboards.
 

Cybersecurity:
 

Implement and maintain antivirus, firewall, and security policies.
 

Ensure regular backups and disaster recovery readiness.
 

User Support & Training:
 

Provide helpdesk support for plant staff.
 

Conduct basic IT awareness and ERP usage training.
 

Vendor & AMC Management:
 

Coordinate with IT vendors for hardware/software procurement.
 

Manage Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs).

 

Education
 

BCA in Computers, B.Sc in Any Specialization
