Manage manpower resources, coordinate with project managers, and ensure optimal resource allocation.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for overall Civil Construction manpower resources; starting from identifying and sourcing as well as planning and work execution at various sections in project works.
The candidate will ensure to identify the manpower resources in right time and sourcing in different localities/areas such as Plumbers, Scavengers, Barbenders , Civil shuttering carpenters, Massons, Cement concrete workers, brick works and plastering and also mobilize all the teams in the project works.
Coordinating with project managers to understand manpower resource requirements
Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations.
Maintaining positive relationships with team members to understand their skills, goals, and preferences
Hire contractors and other staff and allocate responsibilities.
Supervise the work of labourers, mechanics etc. and give them guidance when needed.
Maintaining a thorough understanding of the availability and skill set of each resources to assign them where they will be most effective
Allocating manpower in different type of skills in the most efficient way possible to meet project objectives
Forecasting future manpower resources needs based on upcoming projects or business goals
Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures in the allocation and use of manpower resources
Providing regular reports on manpower allocation and utilization to the Senior Management.
Requirements
B.Tech/B.E or related field
Proven experience as a Resource Manager or similar role
Understanding of resource management principles and practices
Knowledge of project management principles
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to solve problems and make decisions.
Qualification:
B.Tech/B.E. with proven experience as a Resource Manager in civil construction.
