Job Decsription:
 

Controlling Primary Freight.
 

Using MCV & HCV vehicles instead of LCV while transferring materials to our customers.
 

To reduce parcel Service freight cost to work with multiple parcel services instead of monopoly of M/s. Safexpress.
 

Also encourage plants to reduce ODA charges.
 

Maintain up-to-date records of all inventory material including their specification, quality checks, vendor name, cost of purchase, cost of logistics and storage.
 

Optimize material costs by negotiating favorable terms with suppliers, implementing cost-effective sourcing strategies, and monitoring market price trends.
 

Prepare and issue purchase orders to selected vendors in accordance with organization's policies and negotiated terms and follow- up with them for material as per Purchase Order terms.
 

In the case of CMPs, co-ordinate for timely raising of the PO's by them.
 

Scout for right vendors for supplying the raw materials, packing materials.
 

Manage the vendor evaluation process as per the defined criteria and evaluation parameters.
 

Onboard vendors and ensure timely generation of vendor code by the commercials team.
 

Conduct periodic vendor evaluation to determine continuity / change of vendors.
 

Ensure timely issuance of debit notes / credit notes to the vendors and keeping a track of the same.      
 

Invite commercial bids and evaluate the bids with existing rate to ensure market competitiveness is always maintained.
 

Participate in e-bidding process jointly with commercial teams.                                                                                        
 

Ensure timely invitation of quotations.
 

Ensure timely collection of quotation from approved vendors, negotiation on the pricing and terms with the vendors.
