The position is responsible to oversee all functions of Quality Control systems and Management and technical issues for Slag (GGBS) /Cement grinding in Loesche VRM for cement grinding. Also, to co-ordinate with RMC plants for quality requirements.

 

Job Responsibilities as per the following:

 

1. The Quality Assurance (QA) Manager will oversee the activity of the quality assurance department and, developing, implementing, and maintaining a system of quality and reliability testing for the organizations products and/or development processes.
 

2. Constantly review the Quality standards and procedure and update as per company requirement complying with ISO 9001 standards and ensure its implementation in coordination with the Department concerned.
 

3. Review processes to ensure that they align with current trends. Coordination of the Internal Auditing for QMS and maintain registers, and reporting.
 

4. Raise Corrective action or Risk and Opportunities register (CAR or ROR) and follow- up with the concerned department to close it.
 

5. Ensure that the end products comply with the company’s specifications and the current standards before being dispatched.
 

6. Ensure that sampling and analysis standards and procedures are respected.
 

7. Ensure that the operators are provided with good quality training and information with a view to ensuring the quality of manufactured products.
 

8. Ensure that the laboratory records are kept up-to-date and allow product traceability.
 

9. Interpret results and notifies colleagues if the product seems not to comply with the specifications.
 

10. Manages chemistry/quality/environment projects to carry out improvements and standardization.
 

11. Co-ordinate’s certification procedures (ISO9001 or 14001) Liaises with the relevant Government certification authorities.
 

12. Liaises with the technical sales force and the clients in case of dispute.
 

13. Co-ordinate and manage the production so as to make available on a day-to-day basis, the required product within the specified quality, cost and time.
 

14. Studies product quality problems and initiates necessary adjustments.
 

15. Good knowledge of process controls statistical methods and of experimental design.
 

16. Good knowledge of current regulations and of specific environmental regulations.
