Job Description

 

1.Ensure shiftwise day to day activitioes.
 

2. Ensure implementation of preventive maintenance schedule.
 

3. Review the weekly / major shutdown plans.
 

4. Analyse major breakdowns and plan corrective actions.
 

5. Improve the equipment efficiency through regular inspection and maintenance.
 

6.Take precautions to arrest leakages, wastages of material.
 

7. Mechanical maintenance of plant equipments.
 

8. Mechanical Maintenance activities in the Cement Plant.
 

9. Take plant rounds /study check list daily and identify problems.
 

10.Identify spillage /leakage / dust emissions.
 

11. Ensure continuous operation & availability plant right from Packing plant , Utility section ( Compressors, Blowers , pumps & cooling tower) and BCCW  systems to achieve the budgeted production with utmost safety, optimum cost and power.
 

12. Ensure qualitative and safe breakdown and shutdown maintenance. Carryout structural and equipment paintings all over the plant.
 

13. Ensure implementation of safety standards across all the jobs undertaken.
 

14. Execute modifications and CAPEX jobs relevant to Section.
 

15. Plant availability:
 

Plan, organize and monitor implementation activities for optimum plant availability in Mechanical discipline as per the targets to meet operational from Packing plant , Utility section (Compressors, Blowers , pumps & cooling tower) and BCCW  as per requirement and satisfaction of internal & external customer.
 

16. Plan, Monitor  & Control material, lubricant, Inventory and manpower cost as per budget in mechanical maintenance activities in Packing plant , Utility section and BCCW  in order to optimize maintenance costs

 

17. System Management:-

(Coordinate, organize & monitor effective implementation of IMS and other systems in Packing plant , Utility section and BCCW for improvement of productivity and creating safe work culture)

 

18. People Management & Development:

 

To build & sustain a conductive work culture within department to improve productivity,

 

19.Monitor the mechanical maintenance of Pkg Plant, WT, RMH and railway track
 

20. Statutory compliance.
 

21. Improvement of OEE/MTBF/MTTR
 

22. Implementation plan for Quality improvement objectives.
 

23. Elimination of muda.
 

24. Does why why analysis.
 

25. Identify spillage /leakage / dust emissions.
 

26. Study problems for corrective actions
 

27. Execute small modifications for improvement.
 

28. Maintain checklists of pollution control equipments
 

29. Carryout audit for safety / environment, attend abnormalities identified during audits.
 

30.Analyze breakdowns and suggestions.
 

31. Involve in for elimination of bottlenecks.
 

32. Involve in focussed improvement jobs.

 

Qualification:

 

BE/B.Tech in Mechanical
