Job Description

 

Instrumentation Maintenance:
 

Ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of all instrumentation and control systems in the grinding unit, such as weigh feeders, belt scales, temperature sensors, pressure transmitters, and vibration monitoring systems.
 

Troubleshoot and repair instrumentation systems to minimize downtime

 

Calibration and Testing:
 

Conduct periodic calibration and testing of equipment, including flow meters, analyzers, and control valves.
 

Maintain calibration records as per industry standards and audit requirements.

 

Control Systems:
 

Monitor and optimize the performance of PLC/DCS systems used in grinding operations.
 

Update PLC logic and software programming as per process requirements.

 

Automation Upgrades:
 

Participate in automation projects and upgrades to improve process efficiency and reliability.
 

Evaluate and recommend advanced control solutions to enhance grinding performance.

 

Documentation and Compliance:
 

Prepare and maintain documentation, including SOPs, technical manuals, and maintenance logs.
 

Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards related to instrumentation.

 

Collaboration:
 

Work closely with mechanical and electrical teams to ensure seamless integration and functioning of instrumentation with plant equipment.
 

Coordinate with vendors for spares, AMC (Annual Maintenance Contracts), and technical support.

B.Tech/B.E. in Electronics/Telecommunication, Instrumentation
