Job Purpose/Mission:

 

Coordinating with Project management (From Engineering to successful Commissioning of plant)
 

 

Main Task

 

Execution of a Capex project within budgeted time, cost and achieving guaranteed performance, as a team leader.
 

Coordination with all construction groups and get the work done as per schedule & quality
 

Supervising and ensuring timely reporting, issue escalation.

Coordinating with Project Management for Project planning, scheduling and monitoring Plan activities and draw a schedule to meet project timeline.
 

Ensure timely execution through close monitoring and taking necessary steps whenever required.
 

Anticipate problems and make contingency plans.
 

Schedule drawn and adherence in actual execution.
 

No. of contingency plans made and executed.
 

Engineering:
 

Interact, de-bottleneck, co-ordinate and ensure timely release of drawings and documents for site execution / procurement.
 

Release of drawings / documents as per requirement of Project
 

Procurement:
 

Enquiry to finalisation of order. To act as a lead member of various teams in completing the activity in time and within budgeted cost.
 

Variance between estimated cost and actual.
 

Site execution:

 

Coordination with all construction groups and get the work done as per time schedule and as per quality norms.
 

No. of quality deviations / Time deviations / emergency situations
 

Safety:

 

Take care of safety aspects during engineering. Ensure zero fatalities and meeting of LH norms w.r.t. Freq. rate and severity rates at site.

MIS:
 

 

Supervising and ensuring timely reporting, issue escalation.

Project closure:
 

 

Proper documentation, Handing over after commissioning, Closure report (especially high lighting learning)

Qualifications, including competencies, skill, knowledge:
 

 

Preferred Education:

 

M. Tech / B. Tech / M.E / B.E

 

Preferred professional memberships:
 

Any professional membership / qualification in Project Management (like PMP of PM Institute) preferred

 

Preferred Experience:

 

10-15 years in Project management with at least one large Capex Cement project execution experience. Additional experience in Cement plant operation will be an added advantage.
