Position: Section Head – Quality – Cement Plant
 

Experience: 10 – 15 Years
 

Qualification: Any Graduate
 

Key Skill: Quality Management Systems (QMS), BIS Standards, Raw Material Quality Control, SAP, Laboratory Management, Kiln Operation Support, Inventory Management, Safety Compliance

 

Responsibility:

 

Ensure consistent quality of raw materials, intermediate, and finished products as per QMS policy and BIS standards
 

Support HoD Quality for smooth quality operations at the unit
 

Maintain quality and adequate stock of incoming raw materials as per production plan
 

Manage inventory of chemicals, glassware, and lab consumables
 

Identify quality deviations and implement corrective & preventive actions
 

Ensure proper unloading, stacking, segregation, and storage of materials
 

Coordinate with Production & Maintenance teams for stable kiln operations
 

Ensure adherence to safety standards during material handling
 

Promote dust control, waste minimization, and sustainability initiatives
 

Update quality data and parameters in SAP and release materials for consumption
 

Provide on-job training to subordinates for skill development

 

Others: Experience in QMS and strong knowledge of BIS standards required
