Railway logistics and rake management.

Rake indenting, placement, loading, and unloading.

Rail freight optimization and tariff analysis.

Rake turnaround time and cycle time improvement.

Railway siding operations and throughput optimization.

Detention, demurrage, and idle-time reduction.

Coordination with Indian Railways and internal stakeholders.

Rail logistics cost-per-tonne analysis and performance monitoring.

Railway safety compliance and statutory requirements.

Cross-functional coordination and team leadership.

 

Responsibility:

Optimize rake indents, placement, loading, unloading, and turnaround time.

Reduce rail freight costs through route planning, tariff optimization, and improved rake utilization.

Coordinate with Indian Railways and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless rail operations.

Improve siding productivity, loading/unloading rates, and overall rake-handling efficiency.

Ensure timely rake availability, improve rake cycle time, and maximize carrying capacity.

Minimize delays, detention, demurrage, idle time, and operational bottlenecks.

Monitor rail logistics cost per tonne, turnaround time, productivity, and adherence to operational plans.

Ensure compliance with railway safety protocols, statutory requirements, and internal standards.

Coordinate with plant operations, dispatch, commercial, and logistics teams to maintain uninterrupted material movement.
