Responsibility:

Ensure timely vehicle placement, optimize fleet utilization, and improve truck turnaround time.

Achieve on-time dispatch targets and maintain efficient transportation operations.

Manage jetty operations, vessel unloading, and bulk material handling activities.

Coordinate with port/jetty stakeholders and Indian Railways to ensure smooth material movement.

Reduce vessel turnaround time and minimize demurrage costs.

Optimize freight costs through route planning, transport mode selection, and vendor negotiations.

Monitor logistics cost per tonne while maintaining service levels and operational efficiency.

Ensure compliance with safety standards, statutory requirements, and operational procedures.
