Job Description:

 

MIS & Reporting
 

Collect, validate, and consolidate dispatch, freight, and logistics performance data from all Logistics head. Generate daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports covering rail, road, and other dispatch modes.
 

Track freight cost, turnaround time and transporter performance.
 

Highlight variances against plan (budget vs. actual) and support corrective actions.
 

Highlight variances against Rolling plan vs Actual.

 

Data Analysis & Insights: -
 

Analyze logistics costs and identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
 

Provide actionable insights to support freight negotiations, cost control, and vendor evaluation.
 

Support management in decision-making by preparing dashboards and presentations.

 

Coordination & Compliance
 

Liaise with regional logistics teams, Plant Logistics team, transporters, and commercial team for smooth data flow and accuracy.
 

Ensure compliance with company Operational SOPs, statutory requirements and reporting timelines.
 

Support audits, reconciliations, and ensure accuracy of freight bills and transporter payments.

 

Systems & Process Improvement: -
 

Ensure proper usage of SAP and other logistics digital platforms.
 

Automate recurring reports and streamline data management practices.
 

Support implementation of digital tools and analytics for logistics monitoring.

Graduate/MBA
