Mandatory certificate: First class Mines manager certificate required.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Developing and implementing blasting plans and procedures in compliance with safety regulations and industry best practices 
 

Supervising and directing blasting activities at various cement plant sites 
 

Collaborating with engineering and production teams to optimize blasting processes and minimize environmental impact 
 

Conducting risk assessments and ensuring that all safety protocols are strictly followed 
 

Managing inventory and procurement of blasting materials and equipment 
 

Training and mentoring blasting crew members on proper handling of explosives and adherence to safety protocols 
 

Monitoring and evaluating blasting performance to achieve production targets and quality standards 
 

Reporting on blasting operations, including performance metrics, safety incidents, and regulatory compliance
 

Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance blasting efficiency and cost-effectiveness
