Job Description:
 

Support Site EHS Head in establishing, educating and implementing key Environment, Health & Safety policies and procedures as per industry best practices
 

Provide support for cost estimates and technical support for proposals involving safety & environment related Capex / Opex proposals, including annual budget preparation
 

Rigorously monitor the safety processes at site to ensure risk reduction, injury prevention and compliance with statutory regulations for EHS
 

Help in executing all the pollution parameter monitoring plan as per legal requirement; maintain legal compliance and submit the returns.
 

Support in effective disposal of waste material from production processes to ensure environment protection
 

Drive loss-control efforts utilizing up-to-date incident analysis data to achieve the greatest impact for continued reduction in injuries, property damage, and environmental losses
 

Drive safety promotional activities and develop and administer recognition systems to promote safe work performance at the site
 

Act as a partner with SITE team and the employee safety teams to drive continuous improvement in the work environment, to build a safety awareness culture, and to promote and reinforce safe behaviors
 

Collect feedback to get acquainted about occupational hazards at the Site, including job site visits to conduct safety audits on personnel, equipment and materials.
 

 

Education
 

B.Tech/B.E. in Environmental, B.Sc in Environmental Science
 

M.Tech in Environmental, MS/M.Sc(Science) in Civil & Environmental Engineering, Environmental science
