Job description:

 

Responsible for total security systems, gate control, employees & contract workmen movements, vehicle movement etc.
 

To assist HOD HR in implementing Security Policy.
 

Shall be responsible for smooth functioning of Security, Gate control, Time Office, General Admin,Transport sections and help in maintaining good and cordial relations with all employees and Local Villagers, contractors, Media etc.
 

To achieve Objectives and target of Security QMS.
 

Assist HOD- HR to identify responsibilities and authorities for different functional positions in the department as per requirements of all Management systems.
 

To ensure availability of requisite resources including Security manpower.
 

To review the functioning Quality Assurance System, within the department at specified intervals, implement the corrective and preventive actions and ensure their effectiveness.
 

Overall management & coordination of section level activities.
 

To ensure working of the department as per sanctioned budget.
 

To be in charge for the Assets under his jurisdiction
 

Maintain Firex assets and take measures for effective fire fighting as required.
 

Overall in charge for Fire Extinguishers procurement, refilling, replacements.
 

Liaise with Statutory Authorities as required for building brand image.
 

To control thefts in the Plant premises.
 

To create and update intelligence network and give feed back to Management for appropriate actions.
 

To ensure payments to Security guards as per schedule.
 

To review the performance of Security agency and also direct Repartees.
 

To participate in Mock drills and improve the process for Safety.
 

To co-ordinate in periodical inspection of private vehicles in premises both scheduled and surprise checks.
 

To conduct random checks in the Township and Labour colony.
 

To liaise with local Police department for smooth functioning of law and order as regards to Plant.
 

To regulate the trucks before and after loading and unloading material within plant.
 

To check the Trucks for proper documents.
 

To guide Visitors and Guests for smooth movement.
 

To regulate the flow of Employees and Contract labour in Plant.
 

To maintain appropriate records.
