Job Responsibilities:
Serve as a negotiator for technical or professional services, which may involve simple subcontracting.
Follow up on goods consumption to determine suitable quantities for the Min-Max ordering system.
Collect official offers, assist in evaluating bids and supplier reliability, and meet with commercial representatives.
Identify and promote new reliable sources of supply while staying informed about market trends, changes in best business practices, and new or modified materials entering the market.
Create Requests for Quotation (RFQs) based on available technical
specifications and quantities in the purchase request, and send them to vendors.
Generate Purchase Orders (POs) and send them to vendors after obtaining PO approval.
Follow up on delivery procedures to ensure timely receipt of requested materials at the agreed location.
Evaluate vendors based on the Supplier Evaluation Form (SEF) with feedback from the requester.
Oversee purchasing activities and support the day-to-day operations of the Procurement Division.
Advise and assist employees in purchasing procedures and contribute to writing specifications and scopes of work.
Education:
A bachelor’s degree from a reputable and recognized university is required (e.g.,Engineering, Business Administration, Commerce, etc.).
Key Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (preferred).
Experience with SAP systems (preferred).
Strong negotiation skills.
Excellent communication skills.
High result orientation.
Flexibility and proactivity.
Ability to work under pressure and within teams.
Language Proficiency:
Good command of both spoken and written English (preferred).
