Responsibilities
Project Planning and Execution- Apply internationally recognized project management standards to plan, schedule, and execute CAPEX projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance with industry best practices.
Design Review and Engineering Oversight - Review and validate mechanical engineering designs, drawings, and specifications for clarity and adherence to international standards and company standard design criteria. Oversee the installation and commissioning of mechanical systems and equipment.
Quality Assurance and Safety Compliance - Implement robust QA/QC processes to ensure project deliverables meet quality and technical standards. Ensure all activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations and promote a culture of safety across all project phases.
Cost and Resource Optimization - Identify and implement cost-effective solutions while managing resources efficiently. Ensure projects are delivered within budget and timeline by monitoring expenditures and optimizing workflows.
Stakeholder Coordination
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, contractors, and stakeholders to align project deliverables with organizational requirements.
Proactively address project risks and communicate progress effectively to all relevant parties.
Technical Problem Solving - Address technical challenges and implement innovative solutions during the design, construction, and commissioning phases to ensure project success.
Team Development and Knowledge Sharing - Foster a culture of learning and development by organizing training sessions and encouraging knowledge sharing among team members.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. Certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are an advantage.
Minimum 3 years in mechanical engineering, with 2 years in project management.
