Position: Safety Officer – Cement Plant
Employment Type: Full-time (On-site)
Joining: Immediate joiner preferred
Key Responsibilities -
Ensure implementation of all safety policies, standards, and procedures across the plant.
Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
Investigate accidents or near-misses, prepare incident reports, and recommend corrective actions.
Train and educate workers on safety practices, emergency response, PPE use, and procedures.
Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements and the Factories Act.
Qualification Requirements
Degree/Diploma in Industrial Safety recognised by the State Govt.
Experience
Preferred: 3–7 years’ experience in safety roles in cement sector.
Strong practical background in risk assessment, safety audits, emergency preparedness, and compliance enforcement.
Skills & Competencies
Solid understanding of factory safety standards and regulations (Factories Act, local state safety rules).
Competent in risk assessment, hazard control, incident investigation.
Ability to conduct safety training and influence safe work practices.
Good communication & coordination with multi-disciplinary teams.
Basic computer skills for reporting and compliance documentation.
