Responsibilities:

Oversee the effective and efficient execution of procurement activities for the cement plant.

Develop, lead, and execute purchasing strategies.

Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.

Craft negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal terms.

Partner with stakeholders to ensure clear documentation of requirements.

Forecast price and market trends to identify shifts in buyer-supplier power.

Perform cost and scenario analysis, benchmarking, and risk assessment.

Identify and partner with reliable vendors and suppliers.

Determine quantity and timing of deliveries.

Prepare cost estimates and manage procurement budgets.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

Graduate in Engineering with PG Diploma in Material Management.

20 years of experience in Procurement within Cement Manufacturing.

Age: 40–50 years.

Proven experience as a Purchasing / Procurement Manager in large cement plants.

Strong negotiation, networking, and analytical skills.

Familiarity with vendor management systems and supply chain processes.

Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational abilities.

Qualification: Graduate in Engineering with PG Diploma in Material Management / MBA / PGDM (preferred)
