Job Description

1. General Ledger & Accountancy:

Manage and maintain the general ledger to ensure accurate financial records.
Supervise month-end and year-end closing processes.
Ensure timely reconciliation of accounts.
Prepare and review journal entries and adjustments.
Maintain accounting policies and ensure compliance with IFRS/GAAP.
2. Banking Operations:

Manage banking relationships and oversee cash management.
Monitor daily cash flow and treasury operations.
Approve payments and ensure timely fund transfers.
Oversee bank reconciliations.
3. Taxation:

Ensure compliance with all direct and indirect tax laws (e.g., VAT, GST, Corporate Tax).
Coordinate tax filings, audits, and liaise with tax consultants and authorities.
Identify and mitigate tax risks.
Keep abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations.
4. Accounts Payable:

Supervise the accounts payable team and process.
Ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices and payments.
Resolve supplier issues and manage aging reports.
Implement controls and approvals for expenditure.
5. SAP HANA (Finance Module):

Utilize SAP HANA for financial reporting, transaction processing, and data analysis.
Lead finance module configurations and system improvements.
Collaborate with IT on SAP-related issues and enhancements.
Train finance staff on SAP functionalities. responsibilities

Preferred

Experience in a multinational or large corporate environment.
Exposure to financial audits and internal controls.
Knowledge of international tax frameworks (for companies with cross-border operations).
