Position: Associate-Yard Master – Cement Plant

 

Experience: 2 - 5 Years

 

CTC: ₹ 4-6 Lacs P.A

 

Key Skill: Railway Yard Operations, Rake Handling, Logistics Coordination, Decision Making, Communication Skills, Plant Operations, Problem Solving

 

Responsibility:

 

Plan and ensure manpower availability in coordination with Packing Plant Incharge for each shift
 

Coordinate with loco staff and plant teams for seamless inward & outward rake handling
 

Manage placement and release of rakes in coordination with railways
 

Ensure timely completion of rake activities to avoid demurrage
 

Maintain communication with Station Superintendent (SS)
 

Ensure wagon allotment, checking, and proper rake handling
 

Record staff attendance and manage indent registration
 

Prepare and maintain release memos for inward and outward rakes
 

Inspect tracks and points regularly for safe movement
 

Coordinate safe loco movements within the yard
 

Liaise with Railways for rake placement, empty wagon availability, and dispatch
 

Report track and infrastructure issues for timely repair and support process improvements

 

Others:

 

Knowledge of railway yard operations and rake handling
 

Understanding of logistics coordination and plant operations
 

Strong communication and coordination abilities
 

Ability to work under pressure in dynamic environments
