In-Charge – Chemical Testing (QA/QC) – Cement Plant

 

Department: Quality Assurance / Quality Control
 

Reporting To: QA/QC Head

 

Role Purpose

 

Ensure accurate chemical analysis of raw materials, clinker, cement, and fuels to maintain quality standards and process control.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Conduct chemical analysis using XRF, wet analysis & lab instruments

 

Monitor raw mix, clinker & cement chemistry as per standards

 

Maintain lab accuracy, calibration & quality documentation

 

Support production & process teams with timely chemical feedback

 

Ensure compliance with BIS/ISO quality standards

 

Supervise lab technicians and ensure lab safety

 

Analyze trends and suggest quality/process improvements

 

Key Skills

 

Cement chemistry & raw mix design

 

XRF & chemical lab operations

 

QA/QC documentation & standards

 

Strong analytical and reporting skills

 

Qualification & Experience

 

B.Sc / M.Sc (Chemistry) / Diploma / Engineering background relevant to cement QA

 

Cement industry experience mandatory
