Position - DCS Engineer (Automation & Control Systems)- Cement Plant, Experience: 5 – 10 Years

 

Qualification: B.E. / B. Tech in Instrumentation Engineering / Electronics & Communication / Electrical / Automation

 

Experience
 

• 5–10 years of hands-on experience in DCS operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting,
 

• Mandatory experience in cement plant operations (Integrated Cement Plant preferred),
 

• Exposure to commissioning, shutdown activities, and plant optimization will be an added advantage.

 

Technical Skills & Knowledge
 

• Strong working knowledge of DCS system (ABB),
 

• Experience in raw mill, kiln, coal mill, cement mill, and packing plant automation,
 

• Knowledge of: PLC systems, SCADA, field instruments,
 

• ⁠Control logic modification, loop tuning, and system diagnostics,
 

• Familiarity with plant interlocks, safety systems, and documentation.

 

Key Responsibilities
 

• Operation and maintenance of DCS & automation systems,
 

• Monitoring and optimizing plant performance through DCS,
 

• Troubleshooting control system issues and minimizing downtime,
 

• Supporting plant commissioning, shutdowns, and major maintenance activities,
 

• Coordinating with production, maintenance, and OEM teams,
 

• Ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
