Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Management:

o  Maintain optimal stock levels to avoid shortages or overstocking of raw materials, spares, tools, and consumables.

o  Conduct regular inventory checks and physical stock verification.

 

SAP System Operations:

o  Enter and update inventory transactions in SAP (e.g., GRN, material issues, purchase requisitions, etc.).

o  Monitor stock levels, generate reports, and ensure data accuracy in SAP.

 

Receiving and Inspection:

o  Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and invoices.

o  Ensure damaged or non-compliant materials are reported and returned promptly.

 

Material Issuance:

o  Issue materials and spare parts as per approved requests.

o  Maintain proper records of material movement in SAP.

 

Coordination with Procurement and Maintenance Teams:

o  Liaise with procurement for timely replenishment of critical spares and materials.

o  Coordinate with the maintenance team for priority materials during breakdowns.

 

Housekeeping and Organization:

o  Maintain an organized and clean store environment.

o  Label and store materials properly for easy access.

 

Reporting:

o  Generate daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports.

o  Highlight stock discrepancies, slow-moving items, and non-moving inventory.

 

Key Skills and Competencies:

Proficiency in SAP (MM Module is a must).

Strong knowledge of inventory management and warehousing practices.

Ability to work with precision and meet deadlines.

Familiarity with cement plant equipment and materials is an advantage.

Good communication and coordination skills.

Qualifications and Experience

Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain, Warehousing, or relevant field.

3+ years of experience as a Storekeeper, preferably in a cement plant or industrial/manufacturing environment.

Hands-on experience with SAP MM and MS Office.

Knowledge of safety standards and material handling practices.
