Key Responsibilities:
Installation & Commissioning: Lead the installation, commissioning, and testing of electrical equipment including high tension (HT) and low tension (LT) motors, switch gears, transformers, and other heavy electrical installations.
Maintenance Management: Oversee the maintenance of electrical equipment and systems to ensure reliable operation and minimize downtime.
Power Distribution & Control: Manage power distribution and control systems to ensure efficient and safe operation of the cement plant.
Process Instrumentation: Supervise the installation, calibration, and maintenance of process instrumentation and control systems, including computer/microprocessor-based systems.
Automation Systems: Implement and manage automation systems for modern cement plants, including programming, operation, and troubleshooting of process control systems.
Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the E&I team, ensuring high standards of performance and adherence to safety protocols.
Compliance & Documentation: Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, maintenance activities, and troubleshooting procedures.
Qualifications:
Educational Background: Full-time Engineering Degree in Electrical, Electronics & Instrumentation, or Instrumentation Engineering.
Experience: Minimum of 12 years of experience in the installation, commissioning, testing, and maintenance of electrical equipment and process control systems in the cement or manufacturing industry.
Skills & Competencies:
Electrical & Instrumentation Expertise: In-depth knowledge of electrical equipment, high tension and low tension systems, switch gears, transformers, and process instrumentation.
Process Control Systems: Strong experience with computer/microprocessor-based process control systems, including programming and troubleshooting.
Automation: Expertise in automation systems and their application in modern cement plants.
Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical and instrumentation issues.
Leadership: Proven leadership abilities with experience in managing and developing technical teams.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective coordination with internal teams and external partners.
Compliance: Knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards related to electrical and instrumentation engineering.
Education
B.Tech/B.E. in Electronics/Telecommunication, Instrumentation, Electrical
