Key Skill:

 

Should have 17+ years of experience in electrical maintenance.
 

Strong knowledge of cement or heavy industries
 

Oversee electrical maintenance operations, manage maintenance team, implement energy-saving measures, ensure compliance with safety protocols


 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Lead and manage the electrical maintenance team to ensure smooth operations and minimal breakdowns.
 

Plan, schedule, and execute preventive and predictive maintenance of electrical equipment.
 

Ensure the availability and performance of HT/LT panels, VFDs, Transformers, Circuit Breakers, Motors, and other key electrical infrastructure.
 

Troubleshoot and rectify faults in electrical systems, ensuring prompt resolution of breakdowns.
 

Implement energy-saving measures and ensure compliance with energy efficiency standards.
 

Maintain and update electrical drawings, P&IDs, and schematics for plant equipment.
 

Ensure adherence to safety protocols and statutory regulations related to electrical maintenance.
 

Coordinate with procurement and inventory teams for the availability of critical spare parts.
 

Work closely with production and mechanical maintenance teams to improve plant performance.
 

Monitor and manage electrical contractors and service providers for outsourced work.
 

Drive initiatives for process improvements and cost optimization.


 

Key Skills & Competencies:

 

Strong knowledge of electrical maintenance in cement or heavy industries.
 

Hands-on experience with PLCs, SCADA, and automation systems.
 

Expertise in troubleshooting HT & LT switchgear, transformers, and motor control centers (MCCs).
 

Familiarity with energy audits and power quality analysis.
 

Excellent leadership and team management skills.
 

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
 

Good communication and interpersonal skills.
 

Knowledge of industry standards, safety norms, and regulatory requirements.
 

 

Preferred Experience:
 


Prior experience in a Cement Grinding Unit or Cement Plant is highly desirable.
 

Exposure to modern maintenance techniques such as RCM, TPM, and CBM.
 

Experience in managing large-scale shutdown and turnaround maintenance activities.
 



Qualification:
 

B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical Engineering
