Position: Assistant General Manager (AGM) – Procurement (MRO & Services)- Cement Plant

 

Experience: 10–20 Years

 

CTC: ₹16–22.5 LPA

 

Qualification: B. Tech/B.E. in Mechanical Engineering

Responsibility:

 

Lead end-to-end procurement of MRO items, CAPEX materials, and critical cement plant spares.
 

Develop procurement strategies to ensure zero stock-outs while optimizing inventory.
 

Coordinate with maintenance and engineering teams for procurement planning.
 

Manage procurement of AMCs, shutdown services, logistics, and facility management contracts.
 

Negotiate service contracts and SLAs while ensuring statutory and safety compliance.
 

Monitor contractor performance through audits and KPIs.
 

Drive the complete P2P cycle using SAP S/4HANA MM.
 

Maintain material master, vendor master, and service master data.
 

Generate procurement dashboards and analyze spend, vendor performance, and inventory.
 

Identify process improvement opportunities and implement SAP workflow automation.

 

Others:

 

Strong understanding of cement plant machinery, refractory materials, and industrial service contracting is essential.
 

Commercial knowledge in procurement and contracting is preferred.
 

Experience in SAP S/4HANA MM will be an added advantage.
