Position: Engineer – Electrical & Instrumentation – Cement Plant

Qualification: B. Tech / B.E. in Electrical / Instrumentation or related field, M. Tech (Electrical preferred)

Responsibility: Ensure machine availability as per production plan and perform shift-wise maintenance activities; manage preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance; supervise contractual manpower and support section head for productivity improvement; implement process improvement initiatives and monitor machine performance; maintain daily logs, machine health status and housekeeping records; ensure compliance with safety, statutory and ISO norms including CEMS; ensure calibration and proper functioning of instruments and field devices; identify and implement energy saving initiatives; handle shift operations with focus on zero breakdown and zero accident; maintain electrical systems including panels, drawings, switchyard, coal mill, cement mill, packing plant and wagon tippler; ensure timely completion of electrical layouts such as cable routing, lighting and earthing; ensure proper working of instrumentation systems across plant; manage DCS logic modifications and operator graphics; maintain software backups and licenses; handle environment systems like AAQMS, stack monitors and flow meters; ensure calibration and maintenance of weighing systems, VFDs, UPS, XRF and utility equipment.
