Job description
 

Resource and Spare Management: Ensure the availability of necessary resources and spares for effective maintenance of plant equipment.
 

Standard Practices Implementation: Analyze daily section-wise log sheets and other key maintenance parameters to ensure smooth operation.
 

Equipment Availability: Ensure equipment availability as per the plan by managing preventive and predictive maintenance checklists, history cards, breakdown analysis, and spare planning.
 

Budget Preparation: Prepare the mechanical budget in line with the unit's production plan.
 

Technical Support: Provide inputs to the team for systematic plant issue resolution and assist in technical negotiations with vendors for procurement.
 

Preventive Maintenance Implementation: Implement preventive maintenance schedules across all sections of the plant.
 

Downtime Analysis: Perform downtime analysis to identify and address the root causes of any persistent issues.
 

Planned Maintenance Activities: Execute planned maintenance activities to minimize downtime and deploy the necessary manpower for the unit.

 

Education
 

Bachelor of Technology / Bachelor of Engineering (B.Tech/B.E.) in Mechanical Engineering, Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
