Strategize and implement logistics functions, monitor transportation & stock control, manage vendor relationships, drive cost optimization and efficiency.

 

Key Responsibilities:
 

• Develop and execute primary logistics strategy to reduce Total Logistics Cost (TLC)
 

• Prepare annual logistics budget and drive cost optimization initiatives
 

• Evaluate alternate transportation sources for lowest cost advantage
 

• Implement distribution strategies (warehouse network, sourcing/outsourcing, routing)
 

• Monitor dispatch operations through road & rail for timely depot deliveries
 

• Oversee transporter performance and reduce transit time through advanced technologies
 

• Drive automation initiatives (TMS, E-POD, E-SAARTHI) for transparency
 

• Manage warehouse operations, rate changes, disputes & union matters
 

• Analyze freight trends considering diesel prices, taxation & inter-state factors
 

• Build strong internal & external stakeholder relationships
 

• Lead performance-driven culture and develop team capability

 

Qualification: Graduation & Post Graduation in Supply Chain / Operations (BBA / BMS – Operations, Supply Chain Management)
