Key Responsibilities

 

Process Optimization & Production Efficiency

 

Minimize clinker factor in PPC and OPC 43 grade cement while maintaining internal quality standards.
 

Achieve and sustain lowest specific power consumption in cement grinding operations.
 

Maximize throughput of cement mills beyond design capacity through process improvements.
 

Ensure optimum operation of Roller Press, Ball Mill, and Combi Circuit systems.
 

Monitor kiln, raw mill, and cement mill parameters for stable and efficient operations.
 

Quality Control & Raw Mix Design

 

Prepare and control raw mix design as per internal quality norms.
 

Maintain consistent clinker and cement quality through process parameter control.
 

Coordinate closely with the QC/Lab team for corrective and preventive actions.
 

Equipment & Project Exposure

 

Experience in Loesche VRM operations and performance optimization.
 

Commissioning exposure of Roller Press & Cement Mill Combi Circuit (approx. 260 TPH).
 

Involvement in roller profiling of roller press rollers.
 

Exposure to wagon tippler operations for clinker unloading (L&T design preferred).
 

Experience working with ThyssenKrupp (TKII), Polysius, or similar OEMs.
 

Knowledge of cyclone casting work and process equipment maintenance coordination.
 

Raw Material Handling

 

Effective management of raw materials including clinker, fly ash (dry & wet), gypsum, etc.
 

Ensure proper storage, feeding, and blending practices.
 

Energy Management

 

Drive initiatives to achieve lowest specific power consumption in cement grinding and total plant operations.
 

Continuous monitoring of energy performance and implementation of optimization measures.
 

Operations & Team Management

 

Conduct regular process measurements and plan process-related jobs.
 

Daily manpower planning and shift coordination.
 

Shop-floor monitoring, site inspections, and troubleshooting.
 

Desired Candidate Profile

 

Strong knowledge of cement manufacturing process and quality systems.
 

Hands-on experience with VRM, Roller Press, Ball Mill, and Combi Circuits.
 

Proven track record in energy optimization and throughput enhancement.
 

Good analytical, troubleshooting, and leadership skills.
 

Ability to work in a 24x7 plant operation environment.

Education
 

Diploma in Production Engineering
