Role Overview:

 

This is a senior leadership role with national scope, ideal for seasoned legal professionals passionate about corporate law and compliance.
 


 

Lead and manage all legal matters for the company, including litigation, contract drafting, compliance, and building robust legal risk controls.
 


 

As the strategic legal partner, you will safeguard company interests, minimize litigation, and ensure all statutory obligations are met.
 


 

Key Responsibilities:
 


 

Manage and oversee all litigation involving the company, including preparation, filing, and timely responses for cases at courts and tribunals across India.
 


 

Draft, vet, and review a wide range of legal documents, including agreements, contracts, petitions, replies, and notices—ensuring legal soundness and protection of company interests.
 


 

Coordinate with external advocates and legal retainers, providing case documentation, fact-finding, and briefing to ensure optimal legal representation.
 


 

Lead compliance reviews for all sales offices, particularly under the Shops & Establishments Act, and drive adherence to competition laws.
 


 

Advise and train sales and marketing teams on legal and regulatory compliance, especially provisions of the Competition Act of India.
 


 

Provide legal guidance for routine and complex business activities, proactively identifying and mitigating legal risks.
 


 

Ensure legal documentation, case management, and filings are diligently executed and maintained.
 


 

Key Requirements
 


 

Education: LLB / LLM from a recognized institution.
 


 

Experience: 18–20 years of substantial corporate legal experience, including:
 


 

Deep knowledge of court and tribunal procedures.
 


 

Extensive contract drafting and agreement vetting at the corporate level.
 


 

Track record of independently managing complex litigation (approx. 200+ Pan-India cases), negotiations, and compliance reviews.
 


 

Experience in handling advocates, retainers, and cross-functional legal queries.
