Job Description:
 
 

Raw Material Testing:
 

Conduct quality checks on incoming raw materials (cement, fly ash, lime, gypsum, aluminum powder, water).
 

Maintain test records for each material batch and verify compliance with specifications.

 

In-Process Quality Control:
 

Monitor all stages of AAC block production (mixing, casting, rising, cutting, autoclaving).
 

Perform in-process checks including density, dimensions, rising height, green strength, and consistency.
 

Ensure timely feedback to production team for corrective action.

 

Finished Product Testing:
 

Conduct physical and mechanical property tests: density, compressive strength, drying shrinkage, water absorption, etc.
 

Ensure products meet IS 2185 (Part 3) and relevant international standards.

 

Documentation and Reporting:
 

Maintain quality control records, test certificates, and calibration records.
 

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports.

 

Calibration & Maintenance:
 

Ensure calibration of lab equipment is up-to-date and within tolerances.
 

Maintain testing instruments in good working condition.

 

Audit & Compliance:
 

Support internal and external quality audits (ISO, BIS, customer audits).
 

Implement and improve quality assurance systems and SOPs.

 

Team Coordination:
 

Train production and QC staff in quality standards and procedures.
 

Work closely with production and maintenance teams to resolve quality issues.
 

Qualification:
 
Diploma Civil Engineers, BE / B Tech in Civil Engineering
