Responsibilities

1. Project Execution:

Oversee the design, engineering, and implementation of C&I systems for the CPP.
Ensure timely execution of project milestones with adherence to budget and quality.
Coordinate with OEMs, EPC contractors, and cross-functional teams during project execution.
Approve detailed engineering documents including I/O lists, logic diagrams, and system architecture.
Drive FAT (Factory Acceptance Tests), SAT (Site Acceptance Tests), and commissioning of all C&I systems.
 

2. Operations & Maintenance:

Lead the O&M of DCS, PLC, SCADA, and other instrumentation for the power plant (boilers, turbines, auxiliaries).
Ensure uninterrupted operations through preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance strategies.
Minimize downtime through root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.
Maintain system reliability and optimize plant performance through advanced control strategies.
 

3. Team Management:

Lead and mentor a team of engineers and technicians in the C&I function.
Build a strong knowledge base and ensure skill development of team members.
Maintain high morale, performance discipline, and safety awareness in the team.
 

4. Compliance & Documentation:

Ensure adherence to ISO, OSHA, and other regulatory standards.
Maintain proper documentation for all C&I systems including calibration records, loop diagrams, and compliance reports.
Coordinate with internal audit, statutory bodies, and safety teams for inspections and certifications.
 

5. Upgrades & Continuous Improvement:

Identify opportunities for control system upgrades, automation, and digital transformation.
Implement energy-efficient solutions and support plant-wide Industry 4.0 initiatives.
Evaluate new technologies and integrate with existing systems where feasible

Qualification :

B.E./B. Tech/ Diploma in Instrumentation, Electronics, Electrical & Instrumentation, or related field.
