Key Responsibilities

 

Develop and execute health and safety plans in accordance with legal compliance and industry guidelines.
 

Prepare and enforce policies to establish a safety-first culture across all cement units.
 

Evaluate practices, procedures, and facilities to assess risks and ensure regulatory adherence.
 

Conduct training sessions and safety presentations to promote accident prevention.
 

Monitor compliance with safety policies and legal regulations through inspections.
 

Inspect equipment and machinery to identify potential hazards and unsafe conditions.
 

Investigate accidents and incidents, identify root causes, and manage workers' compensation claims.
 

Recommend solutions for risk mitigation, process improvements, and new safety measures.
 

Provide regular reports on safety awareness, key issues, and statistical trends.
 

Collaborate with corporate teams to formulate and implement safety policies across all units.
 

 

Requirements
 

Proven experience as an HOD-HSE (Safety) with at least 5 years in a leadership role within a major cement manufacturing company.
 

Valid certification in occupational health and safety.
 

Deep understanding of legal health and safety guidelines, statutory & regulatory requirements.
 

Strong ability to develop policies, conduct risk assessments, and produce safety reports.
 

Excellent knowledge of data analysis and risk evaluation.
 

Strong organizational, leadership, and motivational skills.
 

Outstanding attention to detail, problem-solving, and observation abilities.
 

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders.
 

Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work collaboratively across all levels.
 

Willingness to travel occasionally across multiple units as required.
