Key Skill:
 

Ensure high reliability factor for plant electrical equipments and maintain electrical system with the highest level of safety, quality and effectiveness at minimum cost.
 

Experience in at least two different organizations.
 

Experience in Instrumentation and Automation.
 

Working knowledge on SAP or equivalent system
 

Good computational skill having knowledge of MS Word, Excel & Power Point.

 

Job Description:

 

Supervise and inspect the installation, modification, testing and operation of plant electrical systems and equipment.
 

Investigate electrical failures, document and communicate RCFA findings.
 

Analyze the performance of electrical maintenance with time spent to perform the jobs, frequency of the job, spares and consumables utilized during the job in order to propose ways for optimizing efficiency.
 

Having good understanding of electrical safety system. Control the isolation procedure and safety points for plant equipments using the LOTOTO work instruction.
 

Read and interpret Electrical drawings, manuals, codes and specifications to determine layout of plant equipment installations, write procedure or troubleshoot equipment failure.
 

Good knowledge of maintenance and troubleshooting of UPS & their batteries.
 

Excellent knowledge of Medium & Low voltage switchgears, VFDs, motors maintenance and troubleshooting.
 

Excellent knowledge in maintenance and troubleshooting of power and distribution transformers.
 

Ensure maintenance practices and standard operating procedure are followed for electrical equipment.
 

Troubleshoot and perform corrective action on electrical equipments.
 

To control the execution of maintenance schedule and update all maintenance records.
 

Carry out assessment of the section to ensure safety and clean conditions of the areas.
 

Defining specification for purchasing of spares parts and appraising the quality of spares and suppliers.
 

Prepare job scope, contract documents and evaluate tenders for maintenance with procurement team.
 

Analyze actual cost with budgeted figures.
 

Guide and train subordinates for effective and safe working.
 

Ensure adequate closure of all safety related reports
 

Carry out periodic calibration and validation of testing instruments as per schedule or as required to enhance equipment performance and document results.
 

Ability to execute greenfield and brownfield projects.
 

Good knowledge in maintenance and troubleshooting intelligent MCCs.
 

Good knowledge in numerical and microprocessor based protection relays.

 

Qualification & Experience
 

BE/BTech in Electrical & Electronics Engineering with 8 to 10 years in cement plant maintenance and projects(Greenfield/Brownfield).
 

Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering with 10-11 years experience in cement plant maintenance and projects(Greenfield/Brownfield).
