Job Overview
   
 

To ensure proper testing of all physical and chemical parameters of raw materials, intermediate and finished products in accordance with Nigerian Industrial Standard, NIS.

 

Duties & Responsibilities
   
 

 To Supervise Chemical and Physical testing of raw materials, intermediate and finished product in accordance with the NIS.
 

 To effectively Supervise building of raw materials stockpiles with a view to controlling raw meal and Kiln feed Chemistry.
 

 To update and preserve all test records.
 

 To effectively monitor and instruct on necessary measures to ensure good quality of intermediate and finished product in accordance with NIS.

 

Qualification/Experience
   
 

 B. Sc/ B. Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry /Physics/Other natural Sciences
 

 8 to 10 years of hands-on experience of working in a cement plant laboratory at a managerial level.
