Job Description:

 

Transporter Coordination
 

- Managing contracts and schedules with transporters for timely deliveries across locations.
 

- Monitoring truck availability and their route planning in coordination with sales team. 

 

Vehicle Tracking
 

- GPS-based real-time tracking to optimize delivery routes.
 

- Monitoring idle times. 

 

Freight Negotiation
 

- Negotiating freight rates with transporters to ensure cost efficiency. 

 

Depot Operations
 

- Overseeing & controlling centrally through team all loading/unloading at depots by godown assistants.
 

- Ensuring safety and quality standards. 

 

Route Optimization
 

- Designing efficient delivery routes to minimize cost and time.
 

- Balancing load capacity per trip.

 

Freight Analysis
 

- Analyzing freight cost trends to identify cost-saving opportunities. 

 

Compliance Management
 

- Ensuring transporters adhere to statutory requirements (permits, taxes)
