Job Description:

 

Core Responsibilities:
 

Equipment Monitoring and Maintenance:
 

Continuously monitor the performanceof critical mechanical equipment like crushers, mills, kilns, conveyors, pumps, and compressors.
 

Identify and rectify any malfunctions or breakdowns promptly.
 

Implement a preventive maintenance schedule to minimize equipment failures and optimize performance.
 

Conduct regular inspections and troubleshooting to ensure optimal equipment health.
 

Production Optimization:
 

Work closely with other shift personnel, including electrical engineers and operators, to optimize production rates and minimize downtime.
 

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce energy consumption.
 

Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to mechanical equipment to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
 

Adhere to strict safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
 

Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure that all safety equipment is in good working condition.
 

Comply with environmental regulations and industry standards.
 

 

Problem-Solving and Decision-Making:
 

Analyze equipment failures and implement effective solutions to prevent recurrence.
 

Make timely decisions to address urgent issues and minimize production disruptions.
 

Collaborate with maintenance teams to coordinate repairs and replacements.
 

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:
 

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
 

Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and practices.
 

Experience in the cement industry, particularly in plant operations and maintenance.
 

Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving techniques.
 

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
 

Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
 

Willingness to work rotating shifts.

 

Qualification:

 

BE / B. tech / Diploma in Mechanical
