Key Responsibilities:

 

Leadership and Team Management:
 

Lead and manage the E&I team, ensuring productivity, performance, and development of team members.
 

Develop and implement training programs to enhance technical skills within the department.
 

2. Plant Maintenance & Reliability:

 

Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance for all electrical systems, instrumentation, and automation.
 

Develop and implement maintenance schedules, procedures, and plans to minimize downtime.
 

Ensure the reliability of high-voltage and low-voltage equipment, transformers, MCCs, PLCs, and DCS systems.
 

3. Safety and Compliance:

 

Ensure compliance with safety regulations, standards, and procedures for all electrical and instrumentation activities.
 

Develop risk mitigation plans and ensure adherence to environmental, safety, and health protocols.
 

4. Technical Expertise:

 

Supervise and troubleshoot issues related to electrical and instrumentation systems, including PLCs, SCADA, DCS, and instrumentation devices.
 

Collaborate with the Process and Mechanical Departments to optimize plant performance
 

6. Energy Management and Cost Control:

 

Monitor and manage energy consumption within the plant to drive cost efficiencies.
 

Identify and implement energy-saving initiatives in line with the companys sustainability goals.
 

7. Documentation and Reporting:

 

Maintain accurate documentation for all electrical and instrumentation equipment.
 

Prepare and present monthly performance and maintenance reports for review by the Works Head
 

Preferred Certifications:

 

Certification in Industrial Automation or Energy Management is advantageous.

M.Tech in Electrical, PG Diploma in Electrical
