Job Description

 

Conduct chemical tests and build improvement methods.
 

Prepare test solutions, compounds, and reagents for lab personnel to conduct tests.
 

Analyze organic and inorganic compounds to determine chemical and physical properties, composition, structure, relationships, and reactions.
 

Develop, improve, and customize products, equipment, formulas, processes, and analytical methods.
 

Work on model area development as per 5S- organize the work space for efficiency and effectiveness by identifying and storing the items used, maintaining the area and items, and sustaining the new order.
 

Compile and analyze test information to determine process or equipment operating efficiency and to diagnose malfunctions
 

Direct, coordinate, and advise lab personnel during shifts in test procedures for analyzing components and physical properties of materials.
 

Ensure that materials are labelled properly and used in right quantities; maintain sufficient stock of chemicals and supplies to perform lab.
 

Ensure health and safety standards are adhered to while performing the tests and ensure that the necessary safety equipment is used during chemical procedures.

B.Tech/B.E. in Chemical, B.Sc in Chemistry, Diploma in Chemical, MS/M.Sc(Science) in Chemistry
