Candidate should be MBA/PGDGM in logistics and Supply Chain Management from reputed institute with around 15-20 years of experiences in cement industry, Responsible for all outwards logistics / Dispatches by road & rail. Liaison with Railway & Govt Authorities.

 

Job description:

 

Overall Coordination with Transporter
 

Ensure smoothly functional of Logistics activities.
 

Negotiations with Transporters
 

Freight Finalization
 

Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services
 

Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
 

Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets
 

Inventory Management
 

Sales Order / PAF release
 

Freight optimisation from warehouse
 

Stock Segregation/ Damage/Breakage material stock segregation/FMFO Process compliance
 

Process compliance/ Customers Signed and Stamped for Transporters bills Processing –
 

Invoice & Dispatch policy adherence
 

Handling / Sharing MIS through SAP / SAP Data Management
 

SAP Knowledge mandatory
 

Coordination with Rail dispatches
