Job Description:

 

Write the Logic diagrams, PLC programs and design CCR graphic displays for new/revamped equipment. 
 

Responsible for integration of hardware/software modifications and their commissioning.
 

Rectify, record and report any control system equipment failure.
 

Carry out robust troubleshooting of equipment failures in the Plant,
 

Perform high quality repair work and communicate findings.
 

Ensure all Plant instruments (Weigh feeders, gas analysers, opacimeters, dust monitors, CEMS, fire alarm systems, shell scanners, kiln cameras, VFDs, sensors etc) are maintained and calibrated routinely according to approved schedules.
 

Integrate new and revamped instruments into the existing structure, document and commission them.
 

Request for purchase of the required Automation spare parts as need arises.

 

Educational Requirements
 

● Degree in Systems/Control/Electronics/Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent education / experience.
 

● Minimum 5 years’ experience in industrial automation and control systems.
 

● Experience with PLC programming, DCS and SCADA systems.
 

● Experience in maintenance and upgrade of control systems
 

● Experience in busy industrial environment preferred
 

● Experience applying FMEA techniques and knowledge of basic problem-solving tools.
